Moving From Reaction to Real Action!
The Montreal International Forum (FIM), an international NG0 think tank, is pleased to host a major world conference on global democracy which will take place from May 29th to June 1st 2005 at the internationally renowned McGill University, in Montreal, Canada.
The Global Democracy 2005 (G05) Conference will offer the opportunity for international civil society to be proactive. It will go beyond reaction and move to real action by strategically planting the seeds for a democratic, participatory form of global governance.

Between 500 and 700 participants from a diversity of countries and constituencies are expected to attend the conference: civil society practitioners, multilateral representatives, government officials (including local authorities), parliamentarians, representatives from the business and the labour sectors, indigenous peoples, scholars, journalists, and, more largely, all interested persons
