La comunicazione tecnologica estende conoscenze e possibilità, crea una nuova Natura. Con tutte le tecnologie la nostra cultura non fa altro che interpretare, produrre, riprodurre e trasmettere la Natura. Nell’Età del Futuro non ci saranno più né barriere tecniche né relazioni insuperabili, come noi oggi le conosciamo. Non tra noi e le macchine, non tra noi e gli altri... Resteranno, sempre più incommensurabili e insormontabili, le distanze profonde tra noi e gli altri, tra noi e noi stessi, di cui saremo sempre più consapevoli. L’Età del Futuro, dell’“onnipotenza”, sarà in realtà l’Età dei Limiti.

Technological communications expand knowledges and possibilities, and create a “new Nature”. With all technologies our culture explains, generates and reproduces Nature. In the Future Age there will be no insuperable relationships or technical barriers, as we now know them, no more. Neither between us and the machines nor between us and the other humans... There will remain, more and more incommensurable and insuperable, the profound distances between us and the other people and within us, we shall be more and more aware of. The Future Age, the “almightness age”, will be in reality the Age of Limits.
